The Santa Barbara Bucket Brigade and SB Mask Makers are sewing cloth face coverings to help protect critical service workers.
Does your agency or company perform critical service work during the COVID-19 pandemic?
If so, you can sign up to requisition face coverings for your team here.
These face coverings are not for sale.
They will be given to critical service agencies according the the Santa Barbara County EOC needs priority system.
After you sign up below, a Mask Making team member will get in touch with you within 48 hours to discuss your agency’s face covering needs. Signing up does not guarantee that you will receive face coverings, but – if your request meets the critical service criteria – you will be put into the queue for available face coverings. We are doing our absolute best to get these face coverings made and delivered as quickly as possible with over 300 sewing team volunteers in Santa Barbara County.
How to buy face coverings:
The face coverings we are making in the Bucket Brigade Most Mask Maker Project are going to critical service workers like nurses, grocery store workers and food delivery people this month. We are not charging for these masks. This is a community solidarity service.
If you are looking to buy a face covering right now, we recommend SB Seamstress – Megan helped us with our project fabric prep and she is a professional seamstress (and maker of face coverings.) Her contact info is in the photos here. You can TEXT her business line at 805-244-5800 to arrange a mask purchase / pickup. Check out her Facebook Page at: SantaBarbaraSeamstress
