CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training at UCSB.

Free three-day course. This is intensive certification training — attendance is required all three days. Bucket Brigade leadership team will be there!

Open to the general public. There is a small parking fee if you do not have a UCSB parking permit.

What is CERT? The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is designed to help communities prepare for effective disaster response through training and planning. With training and information, individual and community groups can be prepared to serve as a crucial resource capable of performing many of the emergency functions needed in the immediate post-disaster.
